The theme for the Spring/Summer 2024 issue, our tenth to date, is “What is Lightness?” Against the backdrops of New Mexico, Los Angeles and Berlin, the content meditates on what makes the choice of materials, functionality, and colour at UNIQLO feel so light.
Issue 09 2023 Fall & Winter
An issue focused on the style possibilities of layering. Featuring a variety of styles, from classic Copenhagen and modern Milan to new forays into outdoor fashion, as well as an exclusive interview with baseball legend Ichiro Suzuki.
Issue 08 2023 Spring & Summer
Featuring an original cover by the artist Nigel Peake, Issue 08 focuses on the little changes and modest joys of daily life. Highlights include glimpses of Melbourne’s charms, LA artisans, and Barcelona’s art scene.
Issue 07 2022 Fall & Winter
This issue asks: What makes certain old things feel so fresh? Featuring perspectives from London creatives, the classic styles of Harvard students, and dialogues with John Pawson and Maiko Kurogouchi. Cover designed by katazome dyeing artist Keita Miyairi.

Issue 06 meditated on the joys of wearing clothes. Inside, you’ll find stories about stylish New Yorkers and young Californian surfers, interviews with Sofia Coppola and Shingo Kunieda, and a special feature made in partnership with Australian magazine frankie.

Organised from a local, neighborhood perspective, this issue is packed with a variety of content, from glimpses of everyday life in London, Austin, and Norway to interviews with Jonathan Anderson and architectural practice Herzog & de Meuron.
Issue 04 2021 Spring & Summer
Our fourth issue, which took the theme of “Find Your Healthy,” features a fresh, pop-inspired cover illustration from illustrator Mizumaru Anzai. Compiled in the spirit of good health, this issue includes an interview with Haruki Murakami, who has collaborated with UT.
Issue 03 2020 Fall & Winter
Our third issue, entitled “Our Tomorrow,” was organized around the theme of sustainability. As exemplified by our down recycling program, which started the same season as this issue, we considered what needs to be done today for a better tomorrow, and for a brighter future.

Our second issue focused on the theme of “Liveable Cities.” Exploring destinations all over the world, from Tokyo and Kyoto to Copenhagen, Hawaii, New York and Cuba, we considered liveable cities and the people who live there, as well as their relationships to clothing.
Issue 01 2019 Fall & Winter
The inaugural issue of LifeWear magazine centred on the theme of “New Form Follows Function,” our design concept for the 2019 Fall & Winter collection. The interview with Roger Federer is not to be missed.
