Grameen UNIQLO

In 2011 we established a social business, "Grameen UNIQLO Ltd" in Bangladesh with Grameen Bank, founded by Nobel Peace Prize winner Muhammad Yunus. 15 stores were opened in Dhaka City as of 2018. Grameen UNIQLO produces and sells all products in Bangladesh, and any profits are reinvested back into the business. In addition to casual wear and traditional clothing, we sell charity t-shirts where all revenue are donated to support people living in poverty. In addition, we aim to improve the quality of life of factory workers through education (such as nutrition and personal finance) and safe work environments.
