Today it is the world's most visited museum. Open to all, it features over 35,000 of the world's finest artworks, spanning 9,000 years and five continents.
The Louvre and UNIQLO have signed a four-year partnership in 2021. In addition to providing educational programs to spread the splendor of art to the people in the world, The Louvre and UT are developing the T-shirts collection, which adds a contemporary sensibility to the masterpieces and sculptures that the Louvre is proud of, every season.
For this UT collection, UNIQLO teamed up with Yu Nagaba, one of Japan’s leading contemporary artists whose popularity stems from simple, tender works, many of which demonstrate his respect for ‘Mona Lisa’, ‘the Winged Victory of Samothrace’, ‘the Venus de Milo’, ‘The Astronomer’ and other masterpieces.
