UNIQLO only uses responsibly sourced down and feathers from farms that seek to minimize their impact on wildfowl. All of our partner garment factories involved in the production of our down products are RDS (Responsible Down Standard) certified as of the end of 2019 and we will continue to support the RDS going forward.

*We use recycled down and feathers include UNIQLO down products which sold before 2019.

Responsible Down Standard

UNIQLO supports the Responsible Down Standard (RDS) to protect and enhance the welfare of geese and ducks. As an international standard, RDS helps ensure that all aspects of the breeding and keeping of these animals are safeguarded. The common goal is to give traders and consumers more certainty when buying down products.
