COVID-19

UNIQLO extends its heartfelt sympathy to those who have lost loved ones due to COVID-19 or who have been ill with the virus. To help safeguard the health and environments of our customers, production partners, employees, and communities, we are seeking to confront this unprecedented crisis, and to contribute to the global community through a number of initiatives.

Supporting Local Communities

UNIQLO is providing support to many different people around the world impacted by COVID-19, regardless of whether we operate stores in these locations. Having already donated over 15 million masks to medical facilities in Japan and abroad with the cooperation of our production partners, we are now working to assist communities through clothing including AIRism, HEATTECH, as well as protective clothing. We also started donating masks to organizations with which UNIQLO’s global brand ambassadors are affiliated, and then expanded the donation of masks to sports organizations and sports-related groups worldwide, including our official global partners, the Swedish Olympic and Paralympic Committee.

Where possible, we continue to operate our UNIQLO.com online store around the world, so that our customers can purchase any clothing they need from the safety of their own homes. Since the safety of our customers and employees is our main priority, we continue to follow all the prescribed rules and recommended measures in each specific country or location. Protecting Employees and Supporting Production Partners

We provide masks and hand sanitizer to create a safe, secure, and comfortable working environment for our staff. We have also instructed our head office staff to work remotely from home.
We have also implemented various measures to protect the safety and security of our partner factories and the workers who help make our clothes.
