UNIQLO stores around the world donate clothing to people who have had to flee because of poverty, terrorism, or regional conflicts. We will step up our efforts to assist refugees and help improve their lives in the years ahead.

Supporting UNHCR’s humanitarian actions for people forced to flee their homes in Ukraine

InMarch 2022, UNIQLO and Fast Retailing provided HEATTECH blankets, warm clothing, AIRism masks, and other items through UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, to support people forced to flee their homes in Ukraine. We also provided US$10 million financial support to Japan for UNHCR a National Partner of UNHCR in Japan.

In February, 2018, 2,500 clothing items were donated to refugees fleeing armed conflict in Malawi. More than 1 million clothes were collected at UNIQLO Philippines for Typhoon Haiyan in 2014 and Zamboanga refugees in 2015.

In November 2017, 3,900 clothing items were donated to refugees living in Jakarta.
